We are developing a mobile solution and as part of the solution have the requirement for the development of a Communication Module to work on the Windows Mobile platform primarily. The mobile solution will be installed on Smart Phones running Windows Mobile 6.x and will connect to a central server through a TCP connection using the internet. The required module needs to establish the TCP connection on which it needs to listen for messages pushed by the server. The module also need to automatically reconnect to the mobile network in case of disconnections. This may be achieved through maintaining a heart-bit signal with the server or otherwise. That will complete the first phase of this project.
In the second phase the module should be further developed to scan for other available connections such as WIFI and Blue Tooth and use a set preference to select and maintain connection to a network.
This is an immediate and urgent project for which we would like to receive quotes from developers with experience and a proven track record in Windows Mobile Networking technology.
